Processing method of first kind of operator for enhancing 1og resolviing power

Abstract:
The resolving power of lo^ in seme old exploitative dl rions cannot satisfy the demand for fine description of the re-gicml reservoir hetercgeneity. Hence, it is important to enhance the resolving power of the old ocnventional logs. The first kind of operator and Walsh function transformatiai were cmjointly used to enhance the vertical resolving power of the dd well logs and improve its capability in reservoir heterogeneity identification. In addition, the discrete Walsh functioi, regularization method and fast algorithm were used to inprove the inversion speed and avoid the ill craiditicxi of log inversion resulting from the well logging information error. This method was used to improve the resolving power of conventicxial losing data. It is shown that the axiventicmal logging information with improved resolving power is rncffie close to the actual ocaiditicxi of reservoir. The method effectively en-harices the resolving power of conventional log and makes it more effective in evaluating the territorial heterogeneity of reservoir.
