Displacement inverse analysis of casing external loads of creep stratum

Abstract:
The calculation of casing external loads is the important problem for casing stress analysis of creep stratum. Because of the complicated stress field and changeable state near the casing of creep stratum, the casing external loads cannot be calculated by direct method. The mechanical model of casing was established under elliptic nonuniform loading. Based on the elastical theory, the formulas which can calculate casing stress and displacement under nonuniform loading were obtained by reverse solution. Based on the damped least square method, the inverse analysis model was built up. A method was presented to identify and calculate inversely the casing external loads by the displacement data of the casing wall. The application of the proposed method was discussed. The example shows that the calculated results are in good agreement with the real data and the precision of calculation is very high. This method can provide references to casing design.
