Study on dynamic interfacial shear viscosity of three substances

Abstract:
The dynamic interfacial shear viscosity of NP-4, sodium oleate and montmorillonite was measured using SVRS interfacial rheometer. With the time delay, the interfacial shear viscosity of NP-4 and sodium oleate under certain concentration decreases while the interfacial shear viscosity of montmorillonite increases before it reaches a fixed value. The results show that the dynamic phenomena of the film of different substances are distinctively different.
