Performance of reducing olefin of FCC gasoline in lab ionic liquid systems

Abstract:
The olefin content of FCC gasoline can be obviously reduced in [ Bmlm] CI-AICI3 ionic liquid system. The performance of reducing olefin was studied. 丁he results show that the olefin content decreases by 14.70% under the condition with the temperature of 40 C , the time of 20 minutes, and the ratio of agent to FCC gasoline is 1:5. At the same time the octane number of gasoline does not change. The ionic liquid could be reused. The mechanism of reducing olefin can be explained as the superacid catalytic activity of ionic liquid in the alkyiation, Fridel-Crafts reaction and dimerization reaction systems.
