| Teaching models play an important role in engineering drawing teaching. Teachers can demonstrate the course content vividly with the models, and students can establish shape concept by observing the model and improve their abilities of image thinking and spatial imagination. By using design philosophy of cooperative teaching, a virtual experiment system for engineering drawing course was presented based on the technologies of Java3D and Java Appletd. The system fully displays the features of network-virtually interactive teaching. It is a novel approach to teaching process optimazation, and overcomes the defects of traditional teaching means. The system can improve the students drawing cognition and level. So it also improves the quality of engineering drawing teaching. |
