Abstract:
In order to thoroughly study the effect of mineral catalysis on the hydrocarbon generation of organic matter, the comparative experiments of whole rock and kerogen for 4 samples were completed under different temperature, respectively, by means of thermal simulating experiment in the open system. The results of the comparison of ten kinds of microelements show that the content of M barium" has good relation with the hydrocarbon generation, and the related coefficient is 0.91. The results illustrated that the microelement of " barium" had catalysis to the hydrocarbon generation of organic matter. The microelements of inorganic mineral have apparently effect on hydrocarbon generation and the peak. Ordinarily, the inorganic mineral can make the generation peak of organic matter ahead of time.
