Rock damage experiment and evaluation method by exploding wave

Abstract:
The sample damage experiment by exploding wave in water, which is used to simulate the rock damage by exploding wave in reservoir,was carried out. The fractures distribution rule in sample was observed. The -exploding wave pressure was measured by self-made sensor, and the selected damage model was optimized. By treating and analyzing the elastic wave velocity data,the solution method for dynamic damage threshold was obtained. The results show that the rule of exploding wave propagation in sample accords with exponential damping,and a linear relationship exists among relative damage, the square of dimensionless elastic wave velocity and diraensioniess tensile stress.
