Abstract:
Reservoir fractures of mid-Shasan member in Niu 35 fault block were forecasted by using Paleotectonic stress field simulation f profile curvature, fractal and strain simulation. Multitudinous factors influencing fracture development were considered and the forecast results were verified by each other. The results show that Paleoleclonic stress simulation fits forecasting tectonic fracture of mechanical origin, profile curvature fits forecasting fracture correlated to fold and fractal fits the area with abundant core data, while strain simulation fits forecasting tectonic fracture in unique lithology reservoir. Fractures in mid-Shasan member in Niu 35 fault block are mainly distributed around faults and the main extending direction of the fractures is consonant with fault strike.
