Characteristics of pore development and controlling factors of reservoir property of Es3 in Minfeng sag

Abstract:
Influence factors of reservoir property and porosity genesis of Es3 in Minfeng sag were studied on the basis of core observation, thin section analysis, statistics and analysis of core porosity and permeability. The results show that there are certain difference in reservoir physical properties of each sub-member in Es3 and reservoir rock has medium to high porosity and permeability with dissolved inter granular pores as its dominantly pore types, and the mainly pore structure is medium-thin throat. The sorting controls the development of primary reservoir property and affects the rebuild of diagenesis to reservoir. The sorting difference is the origin of good primary reservoir property of mouth bar and subaqueous distributary channel
