Reverse-time depth migration technology of prestack elastic wavefield and its application

Abstract:
The prestack reverse-time depth migration scheme was studied based on elastic wave equation for two wavefield components recorded in 2D isotropic media. The algorithms relevant to prestack elastic wave reverse-tirae depth migration scheme were derived on the basis of elastic wave equation and the solution of solving relevant problems were studied. Then, the prestack reverse-time depth migration for 2D multicomponents data were complemented. Finally, model test and real data processing was carried out. The results show that the scheme isn't influenced by stratigraphic dip and is suited to processing seismic multi -components data from the areas with steep subsurface structures and big variation of horizontal velocities.
