Abstract: |
The static experiment was conducted according to the water quality of the recirculating cooling water system. Through a series of single factor experiments, the influences of nutrition substance ( B0D5,NH+4+ -N, TP),particles ( Ca-C03),and mineral (Ca2+,Mg2+ ,Na+,Fe3+ ) on the extracellular polymeric substances ( EPS) compositions were investigated, respectively. The experimental results show that EPS in biofouling of recirculating cooling water system are mainly composed by the polysaccharide The contents of EPS come to the lowest level with concentrations of B0D5 less than 5 NH+4+ -N less than 6 mg/L, TP less than 1 mg/L, CaC03 particles less than 40 mg/L, Ca2+ less than 210 mg/L,Mg2 + from 85 to 185 mg/L, Na+ less than 120 Fe3+ less than 1 mg/L. |
