Abstract:
By integrating geological data with well logs and core analysis data, stochastic modeling of sedimentary microfacies lithofacies model for proluvial fan reservoir was carried out. Based on sophisticated studies on the characteristics of sedimentary microfacies of proluvial fan reservoir, the braided channel sandbodies in midfan were subdivided into three types of sedimentary microfacies lithofacies characterized by different lithology and reservoir properties. Furthermore, the sedimentary model for proluvial fan reservoir was summarized, and the geological knowledge database for different types of sedimentary microfacies lithofacies was also set up from the depiction of infill well pattern. Guided by both the sedimentary model and the geological knowledge database, 3D model of sedimentary microfacies lithofacies was established using sequential indicator simulation, and further 3D model of facies controlled reservoir parameters was established. The simulation method was applied to the stochastic modeling of real formation. The research results show that this methodology strengthens geological constraints, avoids randomness of interpolation between wells, and increases the precision of facies controlled reservoir model, which has achieved good results in the practical application.
