Abstract:
Taking west 588 borefield in Dagang Oilfield as an example, the channel sandbodies distribution in sparse well network were predicted applying the methods of threedimensional geological model that is integrated seismic data, microfacies quantitative characterization of parameters with geostatistics. The results show that the parameters of microfacies quantitative characterization towards the dense well pattern area of nearby old oilfield in the same sedimentary system can be used as the boundary parameters of sandbodies prediction in sparse well network. The range of complex channel sandbodies distribution predicted by seismic data can be seen as the maximum outer boundary of single channel sandbodies distribution. Under the constraints of maximum outer boundary and parameters of microfacies quantitative characterization, the threedimensional distribution of single sandlevel microfacies was simulated by means of point process arithmetic. The prediction accuracy of single channel sandbodies in threedimensional distribution could be improved by facies control simulation.
