Random vibration fatigue analysis of flow control valve RMG 530

Abstract:
In order to assess the safety and reliability of the value body under random vibration loading, the model of valve and gas in the valve was established using element analysis software Workbench. Firstly, the stress response power spectral density was obtained by the flow control valve vibration response analysis based on the field test of random vibration load. According to the modified S-N curve of the flow control valve material, finite element fatigue analysis software NCode was used to analyze the random vibration fatigue of the reducing valve by the method of time domain and frequency domain. The results show that the minimum fatigue life point under random vibration loading is at the corner between the inlet section and the valve seat with the minimum calculated fatigue life of 41.79 years in time domain and with the minimum calculated fatigue life of 38.81 years in frequency domain.
