Abstract:
Glutenite at the bottom of the Guantao Formation are important migration pathways and good reservoirs of Neogene reservoirs. Due to the lack of direct data and related research, however, its cause and distribution have remained unclear, which restricts further oil and gas exploration and development.Aiming at this problem, based on mud logging, well logging and seismic data, this paper mainly focuses on the identification method, electrical responses and the origin of the glutenite. The characteristics of the sedimentary facies of the study section were first systematically analyzed; and then some conclusions were drawn. Firstly, logging responses and seismic reflection of the glutenite are apparent, and can be effectively identified using qualitative and quantitative indicators. Secondly, the glutenite can be subdivided into five lithological types, including conglomerate, conglomeratic sandstone, conglomeratic anisometric sandstone, fine sandstone, and siltstone and politic siltstone, which can be recognized using the glutenite's electrical responses. Thirdly, when glutenite deposites, the supply of the material is mainly from the south and the east, while the western originis relatively remote. Lastly, it is considered that glutenite in this area is braided river deposits, which can be further subdivided into four types of microfacies:channel deposits, diara, overbank origin and flood plain.
