In order to further improve the static foam performance characterization parameters of foaming agent for oil displacement, the static foam comprehensive quantitative index (ISFCQI) was proposed to characterize the static foam performance parameters of foaming agent. The ISFCQI was applied to characterize the static foam properties of the unitary, binary and ternary foaming agents. The relationship between ISFCQI and foam flooding recovery was analyzed as well. The experimental results show that the ISFCQI can be used to characterize the four static foam performance parameters, such as foaming volume, foam stability, foam liquid carrying capacity, and foam liquid carrying stability. This has achieved a quick and quantitative evaluation of static foam performance by using one parameter. It is also found that the ISFCQI of the ternary foaming agent is greater than that of the binary foaming agent, and the ISFCQI of the binary foaming agent is greater than that of the unitary foaming agent. The ISFCQI of foaming agent shows positive correlation with foam flooding recovery. |
