Abstract:
The influences of atmosphere and temperature on solid residue, shale oil and gas, as well as yields of shale oil and compositions of shale oil and gas were investigated by XRD, TG, FT-IR, elemental analysis, four components analysis and GC-MS. The results show that the pyrolysis of oil shale can occur at a lower external temperature in oxidative atmosphere. Shale oil yield can reach 51% of Fisher assay oil content at 350 ℃ in air, which is 3.5 times higher than that in nitrogen. And the quality of shale oil is improved. It is also found that atmosphere and temperature are the key factors affecting oil shale pyrolysis, and oxidative atmosphere has a great potential in the development and utilization of oil shale.
