Abstract:
Based on the optical properties of emulsified crud oil,the equation for the relation of specific surface area and time and the equation for the droplet decay rate of the emuisified crude were derivated. The emulsion stal>ililies of 0P-15-crude,RaxS03 M-crude and NaOH-crude were evaluated by employing infrared scanning equipment. The results show that the half-life of OP-15-crude, RarS03M-crude and NaOH-crude is 0. 26 h,0.96 h and 10. 92 h, respectively. The droplet decay rate of etnulsifiedl crude was calculated quantitatively. The results show that the droplet decay rate of OP-15-crude, RarSO, M-crude and NaOH-crude, is 0.121 8,0.0556 and 0. 000 652, respectively, Th? rosults agree well with the measurement results of general water extraction index in analyzing the stability of the emulsified cnide, which confirms the feasibility of the mathematical model in evaluating stability of emulsilied crude.
