New technology of advanced treating for polyester wastewater

Abstract:
On the basie of investigating the current situation and technique of wastewater reuse, a floatation-biological filtra-tion-ozone catalytic oxidation-fast filtration (FB0F) process was developed for advanced treatment of aecondaiy clarifier effluent from the iii?t Liaoyang chemical & polyester factoiy. During the six months runntng, the process worked welL After FBOF processing, the effluent quality meets the requirements of cycling ub? ae chilled supplement water, chemical oxygen demand is 13 mg/L, turbidity is 0.4 mg/L, oil concentration is 0,27 mg/L and total concentration of Fe“ ia 0.03 mg/L. Compared with ihe processes for advanced wastewater treatment used in domestic industry, FBOF process has advantages of simple process flow, identifiabjle character, good effect in the treatment result and convenience in operation and maintenance. FBOF k a good process tbat may be iised in advanced wastewater treatment.
