Dynamics analysis on partial abrasion and fracture of driving rod in screw pump wells

Abstract:
The deviation of tubing or oil rod was considered to be the main reason for the partial abrasion and fracture of driving rod, but the corresponding prevention method can't solve the partial abrasion and fracture problem radically. The dynamic factors of the driving rod were analyzed. The results show that the lateral vibration of driving rod is the principal reason of its partial abrasion and fatigue fracture. A lateral vibration model of driving rod was established and a method of calculating the critical rotate speed of the driving rod based on the lateral vibration frequency was proposed. Thus, the lateral vibration of driving rod can be controlled through controlling its rotate speed.
