Abstract:
A system was designed to monitor sand production continuously and effectively for the increasing sand production problem during oil exploitation. In this system, the high frequency vibration signal caused by sand impact was monitored by an acceleration sensor. The signal processing procedure was compiled, and the sand impact signals with time domain and frequency domain characteristics were analyzed under different experimental conditions. The experiment under different sand contents with heave oil(the viscosity is about 130 mPa·s) was conducted. The results show that, with the increase of sand content, the power spectrum amplitude, the root mean square value and the variance of sand monitoring signal increase lineally as well. And the result proves that the system can monitor the variation of sand content effectively.
