Abstract:
The number of boreholes is usually limited, and 3D magnetic data inversion is time consuming and suffers non-uniqueness problems. To address these problems, we present a data-space joint inversion of ground and borehole magnetic data with fuzzy C-means clustering constraints. First, we use the inversion method to improve the efficiency of the 3D inversion, then introduce the fuzzy C-means clustering constraint in the inversion to improve the inversion reliability. The theoretical model inversion results show that the data-space inversion can effectively reduce the computational time. The joint inversion method integrates the advantage of ground and borehole survey and improves the spatial resolution. The inverted results are closer to the true value and the boundary of anomalous body is clear with fuzzy C-means clustering constraints.
