Abstract:
Octadecyl acrylate was used as a monomer, and polyoctadecyl acrylate with through-porous structures was prepared by the high internal phase emulsions template method. The effects of through-porous polyoctadecyl acrylate prepared with different concentrations of crosslinking agent divinylbenzene and porogen toluene on the rheology of model waxy oil with different dosages were investigated through rheological tests, differential scanning calorimeter analysis and microscopic observation. The results show that the through-porous polyoctadecyl acrylate can significantly improve the rheology of model waxy oil at a low temperature. And by regulating the synthesis process, its pour point depressant effect can become better than that of the polyoctadecyl acrylate prepared by traditional solution free radical polymerization. When the amount of DVB and toluene is 1% and 75% of monomer, respectively, it has the best effect on improving the rheology behavior of the model waxy oil. When the dosages are 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg, the pour point depressant effect can reach 16 ℃ and 21 ℃. Compared with the polyoctadecyl acrylate, the further pour point depressant range of the through-porous polyoctadecyl acrylate is up to 8 ℃, and the further viscosity reduction rate is up to 54.52%.
