Interpretative model of underground oil and gas resources based on magnetotelluric sounding method

Abstract:
Based on the basic principle of detecting underground oil and gas resources with the direct detecter of the space source, the interpretative models of the stratal lithology were established, and the characteristic curves of lithological detection of rocks were analyzed. And the method of distinguishing the positions and characters of underground rock strata were studied according to the comprehensive energy value of the underground lithology at the different depth. The results of three solid examples verification show that the detection precision of this method attained 78.5% overall in research area, and also the correctness and effectiveness of the model were proved. Finally, the effect of stratigraphic dip on the detection error of underground oil and gas resources was analyzed in theory, and the results show that it closed with 30% to 40% at 30。. Thus, it is the chief reason of the detection error that the average stratigraphic dip of the detection sections of verification wells comes up to 26.3。。
