Development of oil and gas reservoir identlfleation system

Abstract:
Combined reservoir identification technology with computer science technology, the software named oil and gas reservoir identification system was developed on the basis of the thinking of software engineering by using Motif as the platform under Unix system. Considering the character!sties o£ large-scale geophysical prospecting software f the filing system was adopted to manage the data, the concept of entire Plugins was introduced for designing the reasonable construction of the software, through which the quality of the system can be guaranteed and its lifecycle can be extended. This system establishes the work flow of discriminating the oil and gas reservoir tentatively. This system consists of some advanced technologies of reservoir identificationt such as seismic attribute extraction and optimization, BP networkt SOM clustering analysis, poststack and pre-slack inversion + and offers a foundation platform for integrating other geophysical technologies. Good effect was obtained in practical application.
