| Membrane efficiency is a very important parameter (o borehole stability analysis coupled with hydraulic and diem-iatry for shale. The accuracy of membrane efficiency measurement affects th? accuracy of borehole stability analysis directly. The of membrane efficiency calculation metkod introduced in UteTMures were analyzed, and a new calcula-tion method was developed baaed on experimental study. The calculation results weie compared with that of literatures, and verified by tests. The compared results show that the membrane efficiency obtained by new meihod is greater than that of lit-eratureB T and th? difference increases with permeability increasing.
